Crazy sprinklers!!!

To take our minds off Jonathan leaving we decided to get out the crazy sprinkler and have some fun. Paige and Felicity really enjoyed it. Max even came over for a while. The smiles the kids had put a smile on my face.

deployment

Deployment

Never gets any easier!!

So we sent Jon off Friday. It was a emotional and trying day. Gabriel was acting out and the girls didn't know what to think. After being in a hanger for 6 hours who wouldn't be? I am having the hardest time with it this time. The first 2 didn't seem as hard. Maybe because I know it is going to be a hard and long year. I know Jonathan did not want to leave his family again, but his commitment to his county keeps him going.

I was thinking of all the things he would miss over this next year. Felicity turning 8 years old, Gabriel going to preschool, Birthdays, and Holidays, ect. These are the things you can never get back. Kids grow up and I have no one to share it with. The tears fall down my face out of sadness for both Jonathan and I. I wonder if my kids well be okay after all that they have been through. Wondering what is to come with all this hardship there poor little minds have had to deal with.

One thing I do know is much more I appreciate Jonathan. Every time he leaves it makes me realize how much I love him and need him. He is my everything. All that he does for me and my children. After working a 12 hour day he still finds the energy to play with the kids. And make dinner without me even asking. True love is hard to find in a world that is full of hate and darkness. But I have found it and for that I am truly blessed.

As for me I am not handling it as well I thought I would. But with time it well get better. Life goes on. It well be hard. But the great thing about people is the ability to adjust. The dark cloud over my head well move on and the sun well come out once again.

Jonathan

I wanted to take the time to tell my Husband how much I love him. With the upcoming deployment and all the craziness to come, I want to take a minute and express how proud I am of him! Jonathan you are a wonderful father to our 3 kids and the best husband to me. I know that with my craziness it can be hard to be married to me, but some how you see past it and still love me. With all that we have been through together we are still going strong. No matter how many times you well be called to duty, I want you to know that I well always be at home waiting for you. I love you now and I well love you always!
